This week we are halfway through our series on, “The Words of Jesus,” and we have the pleasure of Dr. Edith Prakash sharing a teaching of the encounter Mary Magdalene had with Jesus outside His empty tomb. Dr. Edith explains how when we allow the facts of our circumstance to fill us with doubt, it can lead to unbelief of what God is saying is true. But if we listen to the voice of Jesus, all those doubts become washed away.
Part of walking in faith is seeing the mercy and grace God gives us every single day. It keeps our hearts tender and yielded towards Him, surrendering ourselves to His lead. As Galen brings us to worship today, with the song, “Goodness of God,” we pray this is a time of reflection for all the ways God has shown His goodness in your life, and that you will give Him thanks.
In week seven of our series on the “Words of Jesus,” join our host, Dr. Deborah Harper, as she shares with us the teaching Jesus gave us on what to do about worry.
