“Our Father, who art in Heaven… the opening phrase to what we know as “The Lord’s Prayer,” gives us the focus and format of effective prayers. Jesus instructed His disciples to pray to the Father., and to honor His holiness. Jesus said that the lengthy and proud prayers of the Pharisees were not sincere, but just for show, and that we, as His followers, are not to pray that way.
In this week of the “Words of Jesus,” series, join our host, Dr. Deborah, as she shares about the comfort we have in knowing that where Jesus is we will also be, because He is “The Way, The Truth, and The Life!”
In our second week of The Words of Jesus we’ll be breaking down what living in the fullness and abundance of life within Christ Jesus means. Join our host, Dr. Deborah Harper, as we hear from Bible-teacher, Shermaine Jones, on Jesus’ teaching in the Gospel of John, how we can know the Father through Him, so that we might live like Him, surrendering our lives, so we may live fully in His light!
In worship today, Galen sings, “Holy Forever.” A song that reminds us that we are created to worship our Lord, Our Most Holy God, for eternity. We pray that this is an uplifting time for you!
In this first Edition of our Fall series “The Words of Jesus,” we have Dr. Deborah sharing a teaching on “Repentance and Forgiveness.” Taking a look into the lessons Jesus taught, will help us repent, if we have wronged someone, or forgive, if they have wronged us.
In this time of worship, we pray that you are blessed by Galen singing, “I Trust in God,” a song of remembrance that we can wholly surrender to the Lord, for He is trustworthy!
In our final Edition of the Fruit of the Spirit summer series we will be discussing, “self-control,” and how to yield our fleshly desires to the LORD. By yielding to the Holy Spirit, and allowing Him to lead, we build a deeper relationship with our Father in Heaven, and walk in the maturity and authority He wants to give us.
When we walk with the LORD, He will take everything that would be used against us and turn it for good. We pray this time of worship serves as that reminder as Galen sings the song, “See A Victory!”
