“Our Father, who art in Heaven… the opening phrase to what we know as “The Lord’s Prayer,” gives us the focus and format of effective prayers. Jesus instructed His disciples to pray to the Father., and to honor His holiness. Jesus said that the lengthy and proud prayers of the Pharisees were not sincere, but just for show, and that we, as His followers, are not to pray that way.

In our final Edition of the Fruit of the Spirit summer series we will be discussing, “self-control,” and how to yield our fleshly desires to the LORD. By yielding to the Holy Spirit, and allowing Him to lead, we build a deeper relationship with our Father in Heaven, and walk in the maturity and authority He wants to give us.
In the eighth week of our series on the “Fruit of the Spirit,” we are on the topic of, “Gentleness.” Join John Graham, as he teaches on the concept that gentleness is a conscious choice for us to make, and how Jesus teaches us how to be gentle through His actions to the least of these, and those lost in sin, but how He is straightforward addressing the religious leaders, and the proud!
