Moses heard their case! These five sisters!
Their father had died in the wilderness, and had no sons, and they were going to be left out of his inheritance because they were daughters, and not sons.
But they got together in Numbers 27, and took their case to Moses, and Moses took it before God and asked God… and God said, Yes!
These five sisters known as the “Daughters of Zelophehad,” or The Daughters of the Inheritance,” not only received their rightful inheritance, and place in the lineage, but because of their request, policy was changed in Israel from then on, regarding a daughters inheritance!
This year, know that God doesn’t leave you out! He has your portion waiting for you! Believe God for all that is yours, and have the courage to ask. He hears you when you pray! And He will come to you with what is right and just!

To be honoring, what does that entail? Honor can take on many different attributes: kindness, humbleness, generosity to name a few. But how do you honor those with whom you disagree or even get hurt by? Alyson talks with us about a woman from the Bible who gives us that exact example and how, because she was honoring, was able to save the lives of her household.
This week, we are on the topic of Huldah, and how she prepared her heart to serve the Lord. Join our host, Dr. Deborah Harper, as we hear from Dr. Dana on communing with God, and how we can prepare our hearts to serve our King whenever called upon. Then Lerin will invite us to her kitchen as she prepares an apple pie, made with freshly picked apples from a mountain orchard, and a crust that is a breeze to assemble. In our time of worship, Merle will share a spoken word on how we are wrapped in Jesus’s loving presence, and how we can bring Him our vulnerable hearts, knowing He holds us in His hands.
With our Lifestyle segment, Dr. Deborah will show us ways she decorates her home’s entryway for the holiday season that makes it warm and inviting. She will then share with us a teaching, including personal testimonies on hearing from God and holding on to His truths during stormy seasons of life!
In this teaching, Dr. Deborah Harper teaches on the importance of staying in the scriptures and how God spoke to and through Huldah to prepare the people. Dr. Deborah also shares with us personal stories on how God spoke to her to prepare her for the future and how she was able to hold on to the word from God while facing difficult circumstances. God still speaks to His people through His Living Word, and His Holy Spirit! And the two will agree!
Have you thought about your day-to -day communion with God? How wonderful it is that we can have the scriptures at our fingertips, and the Holy Spirit to help give us insight into the knowledge of God? Back during the time of Huldah, the Israeli nation went through a severe drought of knowledge in the ways of God. However, that did not stop Huldah from continuing to learn and prepare her heart for whatever God would ask of her. And when King Josiah came to her for counsel, she was able to give an apt and accurate answer, and helped get the church and the nation back in right standing with God’s righteous precepts! Join Dr. Dana in this teaching as she discusses the history surrounding Huldah and how we, learning from the example of Huldah, can be ready to serve the Most High, in the everyday of life!

We will hear from Trish Knox, as she tells us a little about Phoebe’s background and the tasks set before her!
We’ll join Lerin Gables in her kitchen, as she transforms what would be a time-consuming dish, into one that is quick and enjoyable-a Fajita Bake!
Merle Mills gives us a spoken word, reminding us that with every gift given to us we can, in thanksgiving, give it back to the Lord!
Dr. Deborah Harper will then share with us how to make gift-giving easy and enjoyable, eliminating the stress that typically goes along with it, during this busy season!
And, we’ll hear a teaching from Dr. Dana Cavallaro, on how the Apostle Paul, not only commended Phoebe, but how the Lord Jesus also commends us, to walk in the authority He has already given to us!
