Join Dr. Deborah, in the kitchen, as she prepares a new family favorite, “Tikka Masala.” Easy to pull together, using a simmering sauce and rice that is easily heated in a microwave, this savory and rich dish will be something delicious to add to your menu! And as a perfect side, add a piece or two of naan bread!
Jesus never fails to meet us at the right time and place, just like He came to the well for the woman in Samaria! He knew she would be there! And He knows where you are today, as well! We invite you to join Dr. Deborah, as she reads John 4, where Jesus confronts empty rituals of religion, and speaks of the right way to worship! In Spirit! He says “God is Spirit!” And those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and in truth!”
During the holiday season, feelings of loneliness and exclusion seem to bubble up much easier than normal. But if we look into the scriptures, Jesus tells us that we are chosen by Him! We are in God’s family and we are also His friend!

Today, in Lerin’s kitchen. we will be visited by a very special guest, her mother. Sharing with us an apple crisp recipe from Lerin’s childhood, it will be sure to leave a lasting impression with your family as well. Made with apples picked from Carter Mountain Orchard, located in Northern Virginia, a crumbly cinnamon topping, and an extra burst of flavor from orange juice, this recipe is wonderful for a late afternoon treat, or after dinner, topped with caramel sauce and ice cream!
Dr. Deborah will be sharing a passage of scripture with us out of the Gospel of John, from chapter 15. She encourages us to be bold and grasp the understanding that Jesus has chosen us! And we can say yes to His calling and appointment!
