God gives us clear instruction to be wise with all of our dealings, being diligent with our finances and other assets. Today, Dr. Deborah shares out of Proverbs, chapters 27 and 3. Touching on why we need to steward our possessions in preparation for future events, to have faith with what God has blessed us with, and to not fear giving or spending where God leads.
In this teaching, the Hyatte sisters come together, sharing aspects of the Proverbs 31 woman. Touching upon her desirable characteristics of uplifting her husband, caring for her children, home, and household, and running wise business matters, the Hyatte Sisters take us a step further. They challenge us to take the time to discover and establish who we are in God so that we may also have the strength and the knowledge to act wisely in all situations.

We enjoy receiving compliments from friends or even strangers. But how do we react when constructive criticism is given?
Dr. Dana teaches on friendship and the importance of having trusted friends who can speak uncomfortable truths in our lives. Referring back to scripture, as well as using examples from her own life, she encourages us to find value in sharpening each other like iron as we walk the Christian walk.
The Proverbs give very clear examples on the ways to be wise, as well as the actions of a foolish person. In this teaching, Pastor Margaret shares with us the importance of seeking out wise counsel, and the wisdom that results with daily communing with God, that helps ensure that we do not pick up the habits of a foolish person.
In this teaching, Dr. Deborah brings to our attention four things from Proverbs, chapter 4. These are different areas where the scriptures say we can apply wisdom: our heart, mouth, eyes, and feet. We hope this encourages you as you walk in wisdom in these areas, keeping your heart pure, by following the scripture’s instruction to “above all else, guard your heart,” and to preserve your mouth, guard your eyes, and ponder the path of your feet. In this way, we honor God!
God wants a deep and lasting relationship with us, imparting knowledge and understanding into our hearts so that we may walk according to His will and His ways, and so that we might also go and bless others. But how do we get there? The scriptures say that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A sincere and awesome respect for the Almighty God!
