Swedish Apple or Peach Cobbler

Get ready for a delicious recipe that is not only very easy to make, but is a dish you can prepare with ingredients you most likely already have in your kitchen! This cobbler is sure to be a favorite around your table throughout the Fall.

Prep Time: 20-30 Minutes

Cook Time: 40-50 Minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Sticks of Butter (softened)

Topping Mixture

  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of Sugar

Filling

  • 6-8 Apples or Peaches (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 1 Cup of Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. of Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup of Walnuts or Pecans

Directions

1. Place peeled and sliced apples or peaches and place in a buttered pie pan or casserole dish

2. Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of the fruit

3. In a separate bowl, mix the butter, sugar, flour, salt, egg and walnuts.

4. Spread over the fruit and bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
