Margaret McLewin

Margaret McLewin came to know Jesus at age 18. She is a native Virginian and licensed minister. Her training includes Bible courses and several streams of inner healing and deliverance ministry. Her husband, Dr. Peter McLewin is from South Africa and they met on a mission trip in Belgium.

Locally Margaret is known for 30 years of experience in homeschooling, and as the Founder of Homeschool Plus. They delight in their five children and fourteen grandchildren. Sailing, biking, and gardening are Margaret’s favorite hobbies.

She holds a music degree with a double major in piano and voice. She enjoyed singing with the Virginia Opera and Virginia Symphony Chorus for eight years and currently has an active studio teaching piano and voice.

Margaret has helped train leaders from the persecuted church in parts of Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Since travel slowed during Covid, she has seen God bring explosive growth in media outreach through the Dr. Peter McLewin FB page. Over 5 million people have viewed their messages in over 180 countries. Margaret responds to people who write wanting to become followers of Jesus and asking for healing. Those who write are from primarily Muslim, Buddist and Hindu backgrounds. One of her great delights in life is to witness the transformations Jesus brings!
