In our second week of The Words of Jesus we’ll be breaking down what living in the fullness and abundance of life within Christ Jesus means. Join our host, Dr. Deborah Harper, as we hear from Bible-teacher, Shermaine Jones, on Jesus’ teaching in the Gospel of John, how we can know the Father through Him, so that we might live like Him, surrendering our lives, so we may live fully in His light!
In this first Edition of our Fall series “The Words of Jesus,” we have Dr. Deborah sharing a teaching on “Repentance and Forgiveness.” Taking a look into the lessons Jesus taught, will help us repent, if we have wronged someone, or forgive, if they have wronged us.
In our final Edition of the Fruit of the Spirit summer series we will be discussing, “self-control,” and how to yield our fleshly desires to the LORD. By yielding to the Holy Spirit, and allowing Him to lead, we build a deeper relationship with our Father in Heaven, and walk in the maturity and authority He wants to give us.
In the eighth week of our series on the “Fruit of the Spirit,” we are on the topic of, “Gentleness.” Join John Graham, as he teaches on the concept that gentleness is a conscious choice for us to make, and how Jesus teaches us how to be gentle through His actions to the least of these, and those lost in sin, but how He is straightforward addressing the religious leaders, and the proud!
This week starts off with Graham sharing on faithfulness, discussing how we can come to the Lord with our “I will!”
This week we are talking about goodness, and how we need to stay in humility to come to our Father, to find how we can walk it out in our lives.
In this week’s Edition, Dr. Deborah hosts our time together, as we cover the fifth fruit of the Spirit, “kindness.” Up first, John Graham will share this teaching on how we can follow Jesus’ lead when interacting with others.
Longsuffering comes in many forms and experiences. But the way we walk through and grow from it is directly related to our relationship with God. Join Dr. Deborah, on this week’s Edition, as John Graham delivers a teaching from the book of Job; pointing out that despite circumstances and the pressure from others, Job chose not to sin against God!
This week on Magnolia Place, the topic is walking in peace. John Graham will share that how when we try to control situations out of our flesh, instead of trusting in the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, we will live in fear and unrest.
